The Galileo Online Kids program delivery comprises two kinds of online learning: Synchronous and Asynchronous Learning
Synchronous Learning refers to the learning that happens real-time, in front of a digital device, with the teacher and peers present online. This period is used for video conferencing and for the purposes of instruction, assessment, and live-stream activities. For GO Kids, synchronous learning takes place during their scheduled GO Kids Online sessions.
Asynchronous Learning is the online or offline learning that students have to accomplish independently. It requires minimal to no supervision of the teacher. Students may work on these activities at their own pace at a flexible time frame. For GO kids, asynchronous learning takes place beyond the child’s GO Kids Online sessions.
